well, well, well
YingYang was already spayed. Because he was already spayed, he was not sedated. Because he was not sedated, they could not cut off all of his mats. Poor baby. He was not happy when I picked him up. I appreaciate the people at Emancipet. They said he was the healthiest, sick cat they have ever seen. He has ear mites and an absess from when he was bit by something. Other than that, he does not have anything else. He is soo skinny. They said he is a great cat. He is sitting in the chair beside me. The other cats are mad. I am letting YingYang run around monitoring them so that there is not a cat fight. I really need to do something nice for the other three.
Poor YingYang
YingYang is at the Vet. He is becoming a little less he today. He is also being shaved. The poor baby has mats everywhere. He would not let me cut them off. I have tried. I thought about finding him a new home when he got "well" but no longer....He has attached himself to my heart. He is sooo sweet. He loves to be held and cuddled and pet. He follows us around everywhere. The other cats are..um...concerned about just what he is. Daisy hisses. Jack just looks at him...not really angry..just wondering. I have kept them apart until I could find out if anything is wrong with him. So far, so good. I was waiting for the vet to call. They were going to run the tests first and let me know if they found anything. I have not received a call yet. I am so glad. I really do not want anything to be wrong. I will post a picture this evening. I am sure he will look bad.

The wedding
Fred and Lori's wedding was fun. But it is always fun to sit around, eat, drink and laugh with the Malott family. Lori, you looked amazing, especially in the dress that you wore 10 years ago at the last wedding. Kyle and Katy you did so great in the wedding. Hanna, you looked beautiful. We are just sorry you did not make it in time, Dang TxDot and their road crew!!! Fred and Lori, the house was beautiful. We loved the stories about all the work you did the week prior to the wedding. I am glad the kitchen did not catch on fire yesterday, just someones shoes!

Another wedding
I am sitting here with YingYang writing this..You ask, "who is YingYang?" it is the new cat. I found him up at the high school over the weekend. He is a hugh cat but VERY skinny. Nearly starving. He has the most beautiful eyes. I am concerned that he may be slightly blind. He has big fur mats under his chin and on his sides. He will go to the vet on Monday to get fixed and have the mats removed. He is very sweet.I have kept him away from the other cats since I do not have any idea if he has diseases. I really did not need another cat but I was NOT going to leave him at school starving.
I am so glad it is Friday. This has been a hard week. Lots going on at work and with out Laura it has been hard. She and Mike are still in Australia/New Zealand. According to their blog, they are having a great time! I can't wait until they get back to see the pictures and hear the stories.
David and JD rode their bikes to work today. I know they had a good ride this morning...don't know about this evening. The wind is blowing up to 40 miles per hour. We had temps at 78 degress today but it is dropping now. A cold front is blowing in and it will be around 40 tonight.
Tomorrow we will go to San Antonio to celebrate Lori and Fred's 20th anniversary wedding vow renewal. And Lori fits in her 10th anniversary wedding dress! Wow, I am impressed! Good job Lori!

pictures and sadness

I have shown nearly everyone the pictures. Everyone laughs when they see them. They also say that it was cool what we did. David really loves karaoke! He is sooo handsome! I really had a good time. Made going back to school from Spring Break better!
I hope to post the video soon of the wedding. It was so great.
Sad news today...my friend, Cindy, passed away. She had been sick. I will miss her. She was sooo smart, and musically talented. She will be missed. Got to talk to Noble today. I called a US phone number and got Mexico. Very cool! It was great talking to Noble.

Monday blues

I am still recovering from the party! It was great. I appreaciate the boys for staying and helping clean up! It made Sunday go much better. We really did not have much to do. I love looking at the pictures. I hope that Dennis' and Fred's pictures are just as great! I can not wait to see the video.
Lori and Fred's wedding is Saturday. They are having a serious wedding. But we will have just as much fun at the reception. Malotts are crazy.
I will attach the video after the weekend when I get it.

WE made it!
I had so much fun yesterday! It was a beautiful day, my son was amazing as Elvis. I think Elvis was channeling through him! We set up the Karaoke in the yard, so had live "music" through out the party. Most everyone got up and sang at least one song. Those that did not sing, you know who you are, just missed the fun! David is downloading the pics as I write and there are 404 pictures. I will share some soon. All in all, one of those days you remember and talk about for the rest of your life.

Tomorrow is the day!!
Sorry about the lack of blog. I have been busy. Got the bed cleared of all of the cacti! Thank you Justin and Jacob! You were beasts! Today did the shopping for the party! Spent the evening buying the rest of the stuff. The house is basically ready. Still need to make a few things and clean the kitchen. I am READY! The vows that JD is going to say are sooo funny! He is going to do a great job. This is going to be soo fun. I will post on Sunday with pictures and maybe even a video!

3 days OMG
I still have so much to do. Should have finished the bath before starting the crappy bed in the front. Pulled out all of the cacti. Hard Work! This is a bed where we used to have this beautiful tree but it blew over in a storm. Since then, David and JD have been allergic to something in it. I am happy to say that it will look beautiful tomorrow morning when My favorite son, Jacob, comes over and helps me with the rest of it. I plan to paint this afternoon. I wanna clean house tomorrow and do NOTHING on Friday. We shall see. Too much to do...

4 more days
Too much to do! Still have not got the bathroom painted. I HATE old wallpaper. The yard will look good by tomorrow. David promised he would come home and mow so that we can start to put out the mulch. I need to vacuum the pool today so it looks pretty by Saturday. The weather could not be better. Took the early morning off and sat on my butt watching Twilight. Makes me wanna read the book. Will blog later and attempt to post a picture.

5 days and counting
5 days and counting and still no progress. I need to be out in the yard. Yard is yucky! Weeds abound. Bought mulch this morning but the beds need to be cleaned out first. I found shirts for Wendy and Jerry, so glad.

6 days and counting
Welcome to the KyleMalott blog. I will try to update it often and include pictures. Especially add pics that David takes but no one ever sees. In 6 more days, Elvis arrives and renews our vows. I love David more that I did when we got married (if that is possible). He is so patient. I usually take an idea for a party and tend to go overboard with the ideas. Here is the idea for the wedding so far:
JD will dress up like Elvis. He is responsible for writing the vows. We will have Elvis music playing throughout the wedding. I have already bought my wedding dress. We have an arbor in the back yard that Elvis will stand under and David and I will renew our vows. Our audience will sit in lawn chairs to witness with either a beer or margarita in their hand. Elvis will entertain us afterwards with Karaoke singing for the rest of the evening. Supper will be fajitas with pineapple salsa. I will keep you posted on the preparations during the week.
